Aims and characteristics of "Eurequa" project: "Former a la qualité européen pour l' agriculture" in framework of Leonardo da Vinci 2000 programme. Contract No - F/98/I/65637/PL/1. 1. A /CONT.

The creation of closer relationships among Universities and regional self-government organisations is the aim of the project. Project contractor is a French Secondary School of Agriculture - L. E. G. T. A. in Châtearoux:

Partners are Instituto Professionale di Stato per Agricultura al Ambiente in Castelfranco, Italy and
Haute Ecole Lucia de Brouckere in Brussels.

The Polish partners are University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn with:

Warmia and Mazury Agricultural Chamber in Olsztyn,
Provincial Centre of Extension and Development in Agriculture,
Agricultural College in Lidzbark Warmiñski,
Rolimpex in Dobre Miasto, and
Olsztyn Voivodship Headquarters.

The introduction of innovated agricultural education, making possible to producers, teachers and students purchase of skill, permitting on realisation of qualitative requirements of produced raw materials are aims of the project. The innovation also relies on improvement of education systems existing in partners' countries of the project as well as in countries of remaining European Union State members.

Detailed tasks for Polish partners are as follows:

Elaboration of an education programme on production of malting barley taking into account elements malting and brewery industry;
Methodical elaboration, making possible profiting from the programme by producers, teachers and students;
Dissemination programme in Internet /University Website/, on CD-ROMs and in  other educational forms. It permits on a wide utilisation from the programme and will realise rule of life-long education.
University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn as the host Institution of the programme in Polish and in English is responsible for continuous updating of EUREQUA project.
